Born 1991 in Graz, Austria and raised in a small mountain village, I grew up interested in politics. With 16, I became an activist of the aks – Austrias only leftist school students union.
In fall of 2009, starting studies of History and German language at the KFU Graz I’ll never finish, I became a member of the Socialist Students of Austria – VSStÖ. From March 2010 until June 2011 I was the Political Secretary of the VSStÖ Graz, from June 2011 till June 2012 chairman.
From September 2012 until February 2013, I did an internship with the Group of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament, working on development cooperation and the relations with the ACP countries and the Arab Peninsula.
After a severe cycling accident in the Spring of 2013, I returned to University in Fall 2013 and picked up Philosophy. Since then, I am an active member of the students union and have worked as a student assistant to Prof. Lukas H. Meyer from August 2015 to February 2016.
My private interests are music (noise rock, punk, alternative country and folk), all things brewed (beer and coffee are an art form, not binge drinks), the social web and readings in theory and legislation concerned with human migration and refugees.
